sit under the dogwood tree
with it’s humble white flowers

A Summer Walk

lace wrapped tree
scrap-rag art
bright colors pop
shiny threads glitter

sounds bounce
distant city noise
purple hats
harmony in chaos

daydream in color
seer across the landscape
in the hot summer sun
